Benefit Checks

To find out whether you may be eligible for one or more benefits you can complete a Benefits Check. These are online resources which tell you which benefits you may be entitled to based on the information you put into them. The Community Advice Hubs use two online Benefit Checks – one from Age UK and one from Turn 2 US.

Gov.uk have also produced a useful Benefits Cap Calculator to show how you and your households benefits may be affected by the Benefit Cap.

Once you have completed an online benefits check, it will tell you how you can claim any benefits you may be eligible for. However please note that the results of a benefit check are based purely on the information you enter into them. If you do not provide accurate information then the result may differ when you come to claim.

If you would like support to claim the benefits you think you may be entitled to after completing an online Benefits Check, bring your results into one of the Hubs and we can support you to claim. Alternatively view our Self Help Benefits pages to find out how you could claim for the benefits yourself.
